Uncomfortable Conversations: Oxford Communities Together

Following the successful series of talks in Autumn 2020, we have a short programme of talks to reflect discussions happening now. Anti-Racist City Oxford will hold 3 talks covering a range of topics, so please remember to book for each one.

A panel discussion of prominent Oxford based voices linked to Oxford and what next for anti-racism in our city, county and beyond.

Guest speakers representing local and wider media to discuss how racism is reported in the media, the impact of fake news on our communities and responsible reporting.

These Uncomfortable Conversations will all take place at 19.00 - 20.00 and will include time for discussion with Q&A. Zoom pre-registration will be required and everyone will be expected to adhere to Safe Space rules.

Open to all who would are OX based, whether you are town/gown, visitor/resident, curious or expert - everyone will be welcome to these conversations.
